A narrative takes hold

Campaigns are about seizing opportunity and running with it. Obama is seizing this opportunity to brand John McCain:

Obama just announced surrogates will be talking about John McCain’s houses and his forgetting about them in 16 states tomorrow. Ouch. Looks like the general is really underway.

Should be a good chance for the McCain campaign to discuss Obama’s mansion that was practically “given” to him by his good friend and convicted felon Tony Resko. Can’t wait till these two guys to actually debate instead of give speeches. What ever happened to Obama’s “I’ll debate John McCain anywhere, anytime”. Still waiting for Obama to agree to McCain’s numerous invitations.

Thank you for bringing up Rezko–any housing discussion is, I am sure, welcome by the Obama campaign. And thank you for putting “given” in quotes, and I’ll assume you define “given” as “Rezko bought the lot next door and later sold it for a profit”.

I, too, look forward to the debates. McCain’s current policy positions are almost all against what the public indicates they want–the debates should make that very clear. Unless McCain spends all his time in the debates accusing Obama of treason (”he would rather lose a war than lose an election”), which may very well be the case. We’ll see.
