Feed for New Items on the Appexchange

Last Updated on Friday, 4 May 2007 07:51 Written by Steve Tuesday, 10 April 2007 03:44

The folks at Appexchange redesigned a while back and killed the RSS feed for newly published items. I created a feed for newly published items that appears to work–at least until they redesign again. I made it with page2rss.com.

Update: They’ve posted an official feed of new apps.

Steve – Do you have instructions on how to set up this feed with Google Reader?

I’m not a Google Feed Reader user, but you should be able to right click on “feed for newly published items” above and copy the link. Then in Google Feed Reader subscribe to a new feed and paste in the URL.

Click the “Add Subscription” link, then paste in http://page2rss.com/page/atom?url=www.salesforce.com/appexchange/ and you’re good to go.

Once again Steve, thank you. Next time you’re in NYC, I’ll buy you a drink.

You can also sign up for category RSS feeds if you want to narrow your focus. I wrote about this on the reporting and dashboard blog and received some interesting comments: http://blogs.salesforce.com/analytics/2007/04/keeping_up_with.html
