Home from the hospital
On Wednesday we came home from the hospital with our new baby. It felt really good to come home–familiar surroundings, our own bed, and most of all it just felt like we were finally our own family.
Our first night was a pretty good one. There was lots of diaper changing and feeding and not much sleep (especially for Beth) but it wasn’t frustrating. He needs taking care of and we’re helping him out. It feels really good. We’ll see how we feel if things change and he gets harder to handle!
