Steve,

I don't know how I stumbled across your site, but this is awesome! I am a fundraiser for a medium sized nonprofit and this definitely encapsulates the basic processes and flow behind donor/donation management. These are great at showing the behind the scenes work and can help inform written policies/procedures related to fundraising. Obviously, agencies can and should tailor such a diagram to fit their exact organizational processes, but this provides a great template to start from. Is there a way to make the Visio document available to make it easier for other organizations (like ours) to customize them?

Just wanted to give my kudos to you for making these and making them available to us all!

THANKS!!

Most of the groups that I work with keep their Accounting separate in an app like Quickbooks. Most groups are conflicted about having to do double entry, but end up keeping the systems separate because of the acceptable volume of transactions. It can be painful, but usually not painful enough to pay for an integration between the two systems.

When the checks are handled, does the relevant data stay within Salesforce, or is it copied/ported to another app, like Quickbooks or MIP?
